Comedy Central Africa’s Novemballs Takes Gold While ViacomCBS Networks Africa’s Women’s Day Campaign Takes Home Silver at the Global Excellence Awards

Johannesburg, 22 November 2021 - ViacomCBS Networks Africa (VCNA) remains committed to highlighting Africa’s creativity and have scooped two Promax Global Excellence Awards this year. One of the two winners and pioneering Comedy Central Africa’s commitment to creativity and creating trail blazing content, the Novemballs campaign took home gold in the 360 Campaign: Best Brand Image category. Novemballs is a humorously impactful campaign that draws attention to testicular cancer by encouraging men to regularly self-test and take precautions against testicular cancer.

Impressively following suit with a silver award in the best Public Service Announcement Promo or Campaign is VCNA’s empowering Women’s Day campaign which was recognised in the Marketing Creativity segment. This win, comes after VCNA took home a record breaking 32 awards at this year’s Promax Africa Awards.
