Zee World joins the ViacomCBS Networks Africa Channel stable

VCNA expands its offering and welcomes new channel to its sales portfolio

ViacomCBS Networks Africa (VCNA) is proud to welcome Zee World, to its channel stable as of 1 March 2022. This move further reinforces VCNA’s commitment to connect brands to their audiences through platforms that offer authentic storytelling, exciting content and value for money.

Zee World is the world’s first English dubbed Indian entertainment channel and is also first in the world to customise fully by showcasing Bollywood movies and series as well as a variety of shows, tailored for the African audience. Its core audience which are females is what sets it apart and has reached over 4.5 million households in South Africa.

Naicker added that, commercially, VCNA’s stakeholders and partners will now have an additional avenue and platform to promote their products and services. The programming contents on the Zee World channel are relatable and adapted to resonate with diversified consumers, which is what VCNA strives for on a daily basis.

Viewers can enjoy shows such as ‘My Heart Knows’ a story that focuses on the unspoken connections and bond between people and ‘These Streets’ which is a story of star-crossed lovers, forcefully separated as innocent children, on DStv x 4 packs channel 166 in SSA and GOtv x 2 packs channel 25 in the rest of Africa, outside SADC.
